Getting busy around my little blog for a change. No surprise, the recent poker news are now already being tagged as the "Black Friday" in online poker. PokerStars and FullTilt are now showing updated messages to their users, what you make of those?
PokerStars:
I like the part where it says "...due to developements beyond our control..." does this mean that PokerStars didn't know they are breaking the law in the US by offering deposit gateways working around local restrictions? In my personal opinion the statement as such is a joke. The same goes for "...for all customers outside the US it is business as usual...". This is just crap too, it can't be business as usual cause a large number of PokerStars players running scared about their bankroll.
Full Tilt Poker:
Another interesting statement can be found on Full Tilt Poker. Besides the fact that som content repeats twice it says here: "We would like to assure you that your funds are safe and secure". I totally belive that! Since numerous bank accounts of the above sites have been frozen by the FBI in the US the funds must be safe. Since they can't be accessed by the sites at the moment they are safe of course. The question would be "How can US based poker players withdraw their funds?. At the moment Full Tilt declines withdraw requests from affected players.
I can see some interesting news and updates coming along in the next days to come...

There are not aloowing any wihtdraw from players arouund the world as this moment my friend. It seems they didnt have separates accounts from players in the US and the rest.
I take it that's Full Tilt. PokerStars is also very slow in processing. What used to be almost insant now takes "at least 72 hours to process". Interesting.
But at least (this people nobody really knows) assure everybody that the money is safe. LOL
